Sad News !!
Recently I received a message regarding long time player wittgenstein from his wife. It read as follows:
It is with a sad and heavy heart I must inform you of the passing of Arthur Stein.
Few people knew how sick Arthur was. He fought a courageous battle with leukemia and died peacefully on February 2nd.
I know you were always most helpful and patient with Arthur during his time of technology challenges. In his final months backgammon was one of his few connections to the outside world. You all made that possible and for this I am most grateful.
If you can think of anyone who would want to know of Arthur's death please feel free to tell them.
We will all miss him terribly,
